Effects of Multiwalled CNTon Holographic Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal |

The electro-optical performance characteristics of holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystal (HPDLC) were investigated with the addition of carbon nanotube (CNT). Two types of CNT, viz. pristine and vinyl modified one have been used, where the modified one gave finer dispersion and high diffraction efficiency and pristine one decreased the driving voltage and increased diffraction efficiency. The increase in diffraction is presumably due to the increased viscosity with the addition of CNT. |
