There have been relatively limited information about the fabrication methods of polymer nanomaterials, compared to the inorganic or metal nanomaterials. In this lecture, diverse synthetic method to fabricate polymer nanomaterials will be proposed. Polymer nanomaterials such as nanoparticles, core-shell nanoparticles, hollow nanoparticles, nanofibers and nanotubes could be obtained using soft-template method, hard-templated method, and interfacial polymerization method. Carbon nanomaterials could be prepared by carbonization process of polymer nanomaterials. Diverse potential application field of these nanomaterials will be also proposed, such as chemical or biological sensor, antimicrobial materials, catalyst supports, and heavy metal remover, etc. |
