제목 | Effect of Ti Addition on Partially Stabilized Zirconia (YSZ-4 mol%) |
초록 | Effect of Ti Addition on Partially Stabilized Zirconia (YSZ-4 mol%) Taik-Nam Kim, Ji-Cheol Byen, Yoon-Ho Kim, Seung-Min Park Paichai University Recently, zirconia has attracted attention as a substitute for artificial teeth. It is a feature of zirconia, and it can be applied to colors similar to human teeth without being easily corroded. However, limitations arise due to the weak brittleness of the characteristics of the ceramic material. As an alternative to this, additives are added to compensate for the brittleness of the ceramic. Ti-sol was used as an additive. In order to increase the strength, the crystal grains should be fine in the first place. Therefore, hydrothermal synthesis was used to obtain nano-sized crystal grains. The addition of Ti to the nano - sized crystal grains made by the hydrothermal synthesis method is expected to prevent crack growth and pore generation after sintering by preventing grain growth during sintering. In this study, hydrothermal synthesis was performed after adjusting ZOC and distilled water to 1M. After completion of the process, ammonia water was added to the slurry to generate supernatant and precipitate. After that, the washed Z-Sol was washed at 60 ° C for 24 hours to remove Cl ions. After drying, 4 mol% of Y-Sol and PEG are added to Z-Sol at a ratio of 10: 1 and stirred. When stirring is completed, it is dried for one week to obtain powder form. A study was conducted to confirm whether the mechanical strength was improved by adding Ti-sol to the partially stabilized zirconia powder at a ratio of 0, 0.5, 0.7, and 1 wt% and then sintering.(1500 ° C., 2 hours, 5 ° C./min) Then, the hardness and strength test were performed through the molding process, and the fractured surface of the molded body was observed by SEM. |
