Synthesis and characterization of thiol-reactive hyaluronic acid for facile bioconjugation |
| 초록 |
Modification of natural polysaccharides with reactive functional groups with specific types and densities is an efficient approach for selective conjugation of various biomolecules such as drugs and genes. Hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring biocompatible polyanionic polysaccharide has widely used as a constituent for numerous biomedical and pharmaceutical applications. In this study, a thiol-reactive HA was synthesized using simple synthetic methodology, and their facile conjugation with various sulfhydryl-containing molecules was demonstrated. |
