제목 The grafting of maleic anhydride on polyoxymethylene  
초록 The reactive extrusion process of polyoxymethylene (POM) grafting maleic anhydride (MA) with various MA ratio(2/4/6 phr) is investigated. The reaction is initiated by dicumyl peroxide (DCP). Grafted products were purified by refluxing in dimethylformamide(DMF) and analyzed. Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) analysis suggested that POM and MA was demonstrated immiscible tendency in extrusion process. Moreover, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy studies indicate that MA attaches to the POM were partially implemented because the results obtained by IR peaks at 1780–1810 cm−1 was  detected by small intensity. We found that the grafted MA on POM by reactive extrusion was not successfully performed. The solution grafting method is considered in the next study.
