A specific polymers with basic functional group (poly(allylamine hydrochloride), Poly(amidoamine) dendrimer) were introduced as additive materials of active layer fabrication of desaliation membrane, for improving its weak chemical resistance especially for chlorine ion. These additives were dispersed in basic aqueous solution with m-phenylenediamine (MPDA) monomer, and polysulfone ultrafiltration support membrane was soaked by this solution. And soaked membrane was dip onto organic hexane solution containing trimesoyl chloride (TMC) for interfacial polymerization of MPDA and TMC. Salt rejection performance of fabricated membranes were tested under brine condition, and active layer was also examined by SEM, TEM, etc.. Chemical resistance of membrane also studied by comparison of membrane performance and other experiments. In conclusion, we verified amine endgroup contained additives were effectively increased chemical resistance of common polymeric desalination membrane. |
