제목 Semi-interpenetrating polymer network membrane based on sulfonated PPO and acrylate for DMFC application
초록 Engineering polymer poly(phenylene oxide) (PPO) has high thermal stability and excellent mechanical properties. Highly sulfonated PPO (sPPO) was synthesized according to post-sulfonation method which utilizes trimethylsilyl chlorosulfonated (TMSCS) as sulfonic agent. For the membrane, sPPO, tri- functional acrylate, bis-acryl amide and Irgacure184 as a initiator were combined into a solution and then cast into a film at 50℃. Obtained film was polymerized by UV or thermally for 3hours. Results of film formation and sPPO were investigated by 1H NMR spectroscopy and FT-IR. The membrane was studied by ion exchange capacity(IEC), water uptake, proton conductivity, and methanol permeability.
