Evaluation of efficient solar cells base on the synthesized CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite |

The CH3NH3PbI3 (MAPbI3) perovskites for low-cost, efficient solid state solar cells were successfully synthesized by a simple solution process. The phase confirmation of synthesized MAPbI3 was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), and optical properties were studied by optical absorption. The XRD characterization reviles that synthesized MAPbI3 has pure tetragonal phase. The spin coated MAPbI3 thin film shows good absorption spectra in visible light region with 1.54eV of indirect band gap character. The synthesized MAPbI3 was applied for solid state solar cells as a light absorber. The solar cells were fabricated based on mesoporous TiO2 via spin coating method. The thickness of TiO2, perovskite loading and hole transporting layer were optimized in order to get good efficiency. The photoelectric character of optimized solar cell shows Voc: 0.87 V, Jsc: 17.66 mA/cm2, Fill factor: 60% and 9.82% of efficiency. |
