To improve the flexibility of the epoxy composite, DGEBA-based epoxy composites were prepared with various amounts of amino modified siloxane(AMS). DGEBA based epoxy composites were analyzed by DSC, TGA, UTM. Siloxanes were used 450 or 800 equivalent of function group and compared their compatibility with epoxy matrix. Therefore, AMS gives the flexibility to the epoxy composites but decreases Tg. Also, lower equivaltent of Siloxane was effective for mechanical properties and thermal properties. |
