제목 Biodegradable Bridged Polysilsesquioxane (BPS) for Efficient In-Vitro Drug Delivery
초록 Hybrid materials offer potential possibilities not only to combine the important properties from both worlds but to make completely new compositions with truly unique properties. Bridged polysilsesquioxanes (BPSs) are a class of hybrid materials synthesised by sol-gel processing of silane monomer containing bridging groups such as organic functional groups. Recently, functional BPSs have been used as high-capacity absorbents. But, general BPS monomers have non-biodegradable properties, which are difficult to use for drug delivery systems. In this work, we fabricated and characterised a new type of biodegradable BPS by FT-IR, NMR and SEM. In addition, these biodegradable BPSs are highly promising as drug delivery carriers for several therapy. 2015년 한국교통대학교 지원을 받아 수행하였음.
