제목 Aptide-Nanoparticle Bioconjugates for Targeted Cancer Imaging
초록 Aptides, developed by us, are a novel class of high affinity and specificity peptides that offer the potential for use as diagnostic or drug candidates. In this lecture, I will show you a couple of aptide-based biomedical applications using cancer-specific aptides-nanoparticle conjugates. Two cancer-specific aptides (fibronectin EDB- and HER2-specific aptides, respectively) were conjugated with superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs) with the aim of targeted cancer imaging by MRI. In vitro and in vivo experiments revealed that the aptide-SPION conjugates showed specific binding and/or accumulation to target cancer cells and tumors.
