WS2 Nanosheet Antipyrotics with Anti-inflammatory and Anti-apoptotic Activities for Wounding Healing |
초록 |
Since burn wounds arecomplicated traumas accompanying oxidative stress and impairment of inherentcellular defense mechanisms against external bacteria, it is of greatsignificance to develop new effective topical antipyrotics. Herein, wedeveloped ultrathin WS2nanosheets exfoliated and functionalized with PCL-b-PEG (2H-WS2)in aqueous solution, exhibiting superior scavenging ability and sustainabilityfor a wide range of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and reactive nitrogen species(RNS) in keratinocytes. Also, 2H-WS2 couldinhibit the expression of inflammatory cytokines and promoted the secretion of antioxidative enzymes and antimicrobial peptides in the skin cells. 2H-WS2 nanosheets accelerated skin regeneration by significantly improving thetherapeutic efficacy in the burn wounds of mice. WS2 antipyroticswere emplolyed as an alternate antipyrotic for the treatment ofburns and can be extended for the therapy of other diseases induced byoxidative stress and inflammation. |
