Penetrating channels in 3-dimensional cubics of PU and PU-pNIPAAm having anisotropic modulus |
초록 |
Directional melt crystallization(DMC) method is a versatile method to make penetrated pore structure with various materials. Nevertheless DMC method could be applied on diverse materials, 3-dimensional structure is hard to make with DMC method because it needed precise temperature gradient control. In this study, we make penetrating pored 3-dimensional cubic shape polyurethane (PU) with a DMC method and subsequently we infiltrated poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide) (pNIPAAm). Both the structures of cubic shape PU and PU-pNIPAAm composites are confirmed by a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Both of PU and pNIPAAm infiltrated PU composite indicate different compressive modulus in a direction perpendicular or parallel to the pore direction. Furthermore, swelled PU-pNIPAAm indicate better modulus than the de-swelled state. |
