MXene, a negatively charged two-dimensionalsubstance, was attached to hair charged with the same negative charge via ametal-polyphenol coordination structure. The hair to which the metal-polyphenolstructure coupled to MXene is adsorbed not only expresses diverse colorsthrough coordination depending on the type of metal, but also demonstrates theUV blocking characteristics of MXene as is, suppressing changes in hair surfaceprotein. Antioxidant activity was also preserved for an extended period oftime. It was also confirmed that MXene adsorbed in numerous layers considerablyenhanced the thickness and tensile strength of the hair. |
