Electrical Properties of [Li0.055(K0.5Na0.5)0.945](Nb1-xSbx)O3 Ceramics |

Electrical properties of [Li0.055(K0.5Na0.5)0.945](Nb1-xSbx)O3 ceramics were investigated as a function of Sb2O5 content (0.01≤x≤0.09). A morphotrophic phase boundary (MPB) between orthorhombic and tetragonal phase was detected in the entire range of compositions, and the relative ratio of tetragonal phase to orthorhombic phase was increased with Sb2O5 content. With increasing of Sb2O5 content, the electromechanical coupling factor (kp), piezoelectric constant (d33), and dielectric constant (εr) were increased up to x=0.07, and then decreased slightly because orthorhombic-tetragonal polymorphic phase transition temperature (To-t) was shifted to near room temperature. The effects of oxygen octahedral distortion on phase transition temperature as well as the strain characteristics of the specimens were also discussed. |
