제목 Influence of inorganic and organic additives on thermo-mechanical properties of poly(L-lactide)
초록  Poly(L-lactide) (PLLA) is known to be useful biomaterials in medical applications due to its biodegradability and biocompatiblity. However, it has a few drawbacks which limit its use including poor thermal stability, deficient ductility, and embrittlement. In this study, we prepared the PLLA blends with magnesium hydroxide, Mg(OH)2, and organic additives via a melt extrusion process to enhance their thermal stability and mechanical properties. The thermo-mechanical properties and bulk morphologies of PLLA blends were characterized by using GPC, TGA, UTM, and SEM. The results showed that the inorganic and organic additives could effectively improve thermal stability and elongation of PLLA matrix.
