In this work, a facile and inexpensive method was used to prepare the porous polymer which involved the polymerization of a precursor , chemical thermal curing process and re-dissolving the solid into some kind of solvent, followed by casting the solution onto a substrate. Some influence factors for the micropore size and morphology, such as the solution concentration, the type of the solvent and the humidity, were studied. The porous structures were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The thermal and chemical stabilities of the microporous polymers also can be improved by hybriding the inorganic materials into the materials. The porous polymers have the potential to function as matrices for one kind of self-cleaning painting. |
