Design Z-scheme (BiO)2CO3-BiO2-x-graphene photocatalyst for high efficient photocatalytic removal of NO |
초록 |
NO have been a primary cause of air pollution, and it is important to find efficient and economical ways to remove NO from the atmosphere. (BiO)2CO3 (BOC) and BiO2-x are both emerging Bi-based semiconductor photocatalysts. In this report, Z-scheme (BiO)2CO3- BiO2-x-graphene (BOC-BiO2-x-GR) composite photocatalyst was designed for NO removal under simulated solar light irradiation. Through the optimization of the BiO2-x content, we observed that the BOC-BiO2-x(35wt%)-GR composite exhibited superior photocatalytic activities in NO removal. Detailed microstructural observation showed that the BOC-BiO2-x heterojunction was formed between BOC (013) and BiO2-x (111) planes. Theoretical calculations confirmed that the BOC and BiO2-x heterojunction favors the transfer of photo-generated electrons, which can be further enhanced by highly conductive GR sheets. O2•- and HO• were observed through the ESR measurements as the main active species. |
