Metal organic framework decorated calcined eggshell for efficient removal of organic pollutants |
초록 |
Eggshell is a typical household and food industries waste. Eggshell waste recently gained huge attention as a green resource for adsorption and catalysis. Organic pollutants including organic dyes are causing water pollution in the globe. Finding green, biofriendly and cheap sorbent while keeping the environment safe and healthy is still a challenge. Herein, calcined chicken eggshell decorated with metal organic framework (MOF-ES) via simple one pot synthesis is prepared and used for adsorption. XRD, BET, TGA and FESEM were used to study the characteristics of the as-prepared (MOF-ES) composite. Removal efficiency of (MOF-ES) was studied under varied pH and temperature conditions. Adsorption behavior and kinetics were also examined using different kinetic models. |
