제목 Characterization of alkylcarbonate species formed during CO2 absorption by 2-(t-butylamino)ethanol(TBAE)
초록 The CO2 absorption behavior of a heavily hindered alkanolamine, 2-(t-butylamino)ethanol(TBAE) was studied in an alcoholic solvent.

Single crystals suitable for the x-ray structural analysis were grown by diffusing acetone into a CO2-loaded 30wt.% methanol solution of TBAE at room temperature. By X-ray crystallographic and 13C NMR spectroscopic analysis, it was found that alkylcarbonate species were the major product when CO2 was absorbed in an alcoholic solution of TBAE.
