Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) have been used in various field because of its good mechanical property and processability. Despite of these advantages, it is difficult to react with other materials since it doesn’t contain specific reaction sites in its chemical structure. In this study, TPU with azido group(azido-TPU) was synthesized to obtain TPU with reactive functional group. The azido-TPU polymer can be easily changed to fiber and film platform using electrospinning and spin-coating respectively. The obtained TPU platform can be functionalized with chromic dye via simple azide-alkyne click reaction. Therefore, external stimulus such as UV, humid, heating, chemicals could be sensible using Chromic-dye-introduced TPU platform. This Azido-TPU fiber including chromic dye could be used for various applications, such as sensible and protectable clothes. |
