The thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU) has get many attention in various field, because it has many properties such as flexibility, processability and mechanical property. However, it’s not has any specific functions in polymer chain, so, this material is limited for many apply. In this study, the azido TPU which is possible to reacted with alkyne via azide-alkyne click reaction was synthesized. The azido group in TPU is very useful and any wanted functional group could introduced in polymer structure, simply. To apply azido-TPU, chromic dye was used to click reaction with azido-TPU. For click reaction, chromic dye was functionalized with alkyne via esterification. Then, the functionalized dye reacts with azdio-TPU and it easily changed to fiber and film platform by electrospinning and spin coating. The chromic dye is sensible to UV light, so, this functionalized azido-TPU could be used for various field, for example, UV sensible and protectable clothes and secret code. |
