제목 Fabrication of Nylon 6 grafted Graphene Oxide (Nylon-GO) and Its Application as Composite Materials for Engineering Plastic
초록 Nylon 6 grafted graphene oxide (Nylon-GO) was fabricated and incorporated into poly(phenylene sulfide) (PPS) matrix for engineering plastic application. GO was prepared by Hummer’s method and Nylon 6 was grafted to the GO by ring opening polymerization using ε-caprolactam. PPS/Nylon-GO composite materials having different filler contents were prepared subsequently. The nanocomposite materials show improved mechanical strength, toughness, and thermal stability with the addition of the small amount of Nylon-GO into the polymer matrix.
