제목 Fabrication of coffee wastes-derived activated carbons for hydrogen storage
초록 In this work, activated carbons (ACs) were prepared by chemical activation with potassium hydroxide (KOH) at different temperatures. The structural properties and the morphologies of ACs were observed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The specific surface area and pore size distribution were obtained by N2/77K adsorption-desorption isotherms using the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation and non-local density functional theory (NLDFT). Hydrogen uptakes were measured by an adsorption instrument at 77 K and 1 bar. The results present that the different activation temperatures for preparing activated carbons have effects on their porosity with hydrogen storage capacity.
