Synthesis and evaluation of injectable chondroitin sulfate-poly(ethylene oxide) hydrogel |
초록 |
Hydrogel refers to a three dimensional polymeric network that is cross-linked via various chemical and/or physical bonds and able hold a large amount of water in the wet state. Several methods of gel fabrications have been developed such as UV-polymerization, introducing non-reversible covalent bonds, self-assembly, stimulus-dependent gel formation. Among thesemethods, in situ hydrogels are of most interest. We synthesized injectable chondroitin sulfate-poly(ethylene)oxide hydrogel via Michael type addition reaction. We confirmed derivatization of chondroitin sulfate for hydrogel formation by FTIR, NMR and XPS.In vitro cell behaviors were later evaluated by seeding bone cells on the surface and encapsulation of the hydrogel for its application in tissue engineering. |
