제목 순환유동층 반응기를 이용한 HDPE 입자의 산소 플라즈마 표면처리
초록 A circulating fluidized bed plasma reactor was designed for the surface treatmentof HDPE powders by oxygen gas plasma. The circulating fluidized bed plasma reactorprovides low-pressure gradients, even dispersion of fine powders, and stable glowplasma can be lightened for plasma treatment under the selected conditions. The effectsof treatment time, rf power and circulating rate of powders on oxidation of HDPEpowders have been determined. The chemical and physical properties of the modifiedsurfaces were determined by using electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis (ESCA),FTIR, and contact angle measurement. The surface property of HDPE powders ischanged from hydrophobic to hydrophilic by the oxygen treatment without change ofbulk property. Therefore, the circulating fluidized bed plasma reactor can be successfullyutilized for surface treatment of polymer powders.
