제목 Effect of H2O and SO2 on SCR of NOx with ammonia over manganese oxides
초록 The effect of O2, CO, H2O and SO2 in flue gas on selective catalytic reduction of NOx at low temperature has been investigated with manganese oxides and commercialized catalyst. NOx removal efficiency steeply increases with increasing O2 concentration up to 0.5 vol. %. The effect of CO and H2O on NOx removal efficiency is negligible. When H2O concentration is 7 vol.%, samll quantity of unreacted NH3 is detected due to competitive adsorption between NH3 and H2O. The decrease of NOx conversion by SO2 is due by formation of ammonium sulfates and metal sulfates. This result can restrict practical application of manganese oxides to sulfur free conditions.
