The UV-durable superhydrophobic films with UV-shielding properties |
초록 |
ZnO/SiO2 core/shell particles were fabricated through layer by layer deposition with poly(sodium 4-styrenesulfonate) (PSS) and poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA) then coating of SiO2 shell onto ZnO particles. The treated ZnO/SiO2 core/shell particles were coated on poly(lactic acid) (PLA) film and the superhydrophobic surfaces with UV-shielding characteristic were successfully developed by using hexadecyltrimethoxysilane (HDTMS). The incorporation of ZnO onto films imparted UV-blocking properties to the film surface, while the coating of SiO2 shell on ZnO prohibited the photocatalytic degradation of HDTMS by ZnO, making the as-treated PLA film surface show stable superhydrophobicity with good UV-shielding properties.
