In vitro skin permeation of Triclosan loaded in cubosome |

Cubosomes containing triclosan (TS) were prepared by dispersing the mixture film of monoolein (MO)/TS in distilled water. Pluronic F127 was used as the dispersing agent. In vitro skin permeation of TS loaded in the cubosomes was investigated using a diffusion cell drive. In order to increase the solubility of TS, hydroxypropyl-α-cyclodextrin was dissolved in the receptor solution. As a control, TS dissolved in ethanol or propylene glycol was used. In addition, the physical characteristics such as thermo stability, size distribution, and apparent shape were investigated using the techniques of differential scanning calorimetry, dynamic light scattering and transmission electron microscopy. |
