제목 Preparation of PVDF-g-PS membranes for lithium secondary batteries by radiation-induced graft polymerization
초록 In this paper, polystyrene-grafted PVDF membranes were prepared by γ-ray induced graft polymerization. The chemical changes in the PVDF films were investigated by FT-IR spectroscopy. The reduction in the degree of crystallinity upon grafting of styrene can be attributed to the dilution of the crystalline structure of the PVDF films with the amorphous polystyrene. The electrolyte uptake and ionic conductivity of the membranes were found to increase with the increase in the degree of grafting. Lithium ion cells composed of a carbon anode and a LiCoO2 cathode were assembled, and their cycling performances were evaluated. The cyclic voltamograms were highly reversible because the peak currents remained fairly constant with repeated cycling.
