Conjugated polymers have attracted great attention as the semiconducting materials for organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) due to their advantages to enable the development OTFTs that are flexible, lightweight and low cost. Recently, fused hetero aromatic molecules (Diketopyrrolopyrrole or perylene diimide derivatives) with planar and rigid backbone are commonly used in order to synthesize high performance semiconducting materials. Among them, indigo is a promising candidate for novel building block which can induce ∏-∏ stacking. In addition, indigo moiety is well-known as an electron accepting unit, that is, donor-acceptor copolymers show strong ∏-∏ interaction and high charge carrier mobilities due to interaction between donor and acceptor moieties. Based on above motivation, we synthesized indigo-based copolymers with hetero aromatics as a donor unit. In addition, 1H-NMR, thermal, electrochemical properties and device performances of this polymer were examined. |
