Crosslinked Organosilicate Hole Transporting Layers for Organic Light Emitting Diodes |

Organosilicate derivatives with thermally crosslikable units are very attractive as hole transporting layers (HTLs) with good adhesion to the ITO anode and thermal stability, in addition to hole-transporting and electron-blocking properties. Organosilicates substituted with various functional groups were synthesized and characterized. Insoluble HTLs were fabricated via spin-coating of soluble prepolymers and subsequent thermal crosslinking. Electrochemical and optical properties of the hole transporting materials have been investigated. Moreover, the device performances of the solution processed OLED structures were characterized and found to be very satisfactory. |
