제목 The dispersion of carbon nanotube in organic solution and carbon nanotube reinforced polymer composites
초록 Polymer nanocomposites based on carbon nanotubes have synergically enhanced properties including high mechanical strength, high thermal and electrical conductivity, optical transparency, flexibility, etc. However the pristine carbon nanotubes are generally not dispersed in organic solvents or polymer matrix due to the bundling of carbon nanotubes. In order to utilize the superior properties of individual carbon nanotubes, we introduce facile dispersion strategy for carbon nanotubes using end functionalized polymers. The dispersibility of carbon nanotubes are enhanced by introduction of end functionalized polymers to carbon nanotubes. The nanocomposites were fabricated through simple solution mixing process and their physical properties were investigated.
