Physicochemical characterizations and biocompatibility evaluations of catechin-eluting poly(L-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone) stent materials |
초록 |
In this study, biodegradable poly(lactide-co-ε-caprolactone, PLCL) stent materials eluting epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) (E-PLCL)were fabricated by mixing PLCL with EGCG. The physicochemical characteristics of E-PLCL stent materials were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and water contact angle. Their biomechanical properties including tensile strength and elastic modulus were determined and compared with the results of finite element analysis. Cytocompatibility and hemocompatibility were evaluated through cytotoxicity assay and hemolytic index determination, respectively. |
