In the era of 4th industrial revolution, demands of small, flexible and self-powered systems are increasing. Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) is an excellent material for flexible energy harvesting sensor with its piezoelectric property. However, it is a challenge to overcome its relatively lower output performance than inorganic`s one, and electrodes must be flexible to enhance stability. Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS), conducting polymer composite, is one of the promising way to resolve the problems. In this study, a novel PEDOT based composite synthesized by oxidative polymerization and used as a flexible electrode for sensing device. It showed high stability, sensitivity, and electrical properties. |
