In this study, highly efficient green thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) device with 31.2% external quantum efficiency (EQE) was developed by using a single host system. Green TADF emitting material, (4s,6s)-2,4,5,6-tetra(9H-carbazol-9-yl)isophthalonitrile (4CzIPN), was doped into a bipolar host material, 3-(3-(carbazole-9-yl)phenyl) pyrido[3',2':4,5]furo[2,3-b]pyridine (3CzPFP), and 1% doped film showed high photoluminescence quantum yield of 100%. Green TADF organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) using 3CzPFP:4CzIPN system exhibited maximum EQE of 31.2%, which is the highest value in the area of TADF devices. This result demonstrated that TADF OLEDs can exhibit high EQE as good as phosphorescent OLEDs and it will be a good alternative high efficiency OLED. |
