제목 Direct synthesis of silver nanowire networks on graphene film via a modified polyol method
초록 Graphene, two-dimensional (2D) honeycomb structure, has been extensively studied for electronic material and device applications owing to its excellent electrical transports properties, high specific surface area, high thermal conductivity, high mechanical strength. Recently, graphene hybrid film with Ag nanowire networks has emerged as a promising flexible transparent electrode material. Most fabrication approaches of Ag nanowires-graphene hybrid film have been focused on a two-step process; Ag nanowire synthesis followed by spreading Ag nanowires on graphene. However, direct synthesis of Ag nanowire network on graphene can be desirable for simple and low-cost fabrication of Ag nanowire-graphene hybrid conducting film.
In this work, high quality graphene films were prepared by inductively-coupled plasma chemical vapor deposition (ICP-CVD). Ag nanowire networks were then directly synthesized on the graphene surface by modified polyol method. Scanning electron microscopy study indicated that Ag sheet-like networks covered graphene surface. The thickness and length of Ag sheet were ~20-50 nm and ~5-10 μm, respectively. X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy were used to investigate the crystalline quality of Ag nanowire networks. As-synthesized Ag nanowire networks are a mixed polycrystalline structure of Ag and Ag2O. The Ag2O was simply reduced to pure Ag by thermal or plasma-assisted thermal treatment in the range of 100 to 200oC. We will further discuss the results of direct synthesis and reduction process of Ag nanowire networks on graphene film.
