제목 Preparation and characterization of PMMA Organic-Inorganic hybrid particle by Layer-by-Layer (LBL) assembly process
초록 Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) has good transparency and luster so that it has been used as diffusing plate. PMMA has, However, low thermal stability and low mechanical property. Not only to improve this problem but also to enhance the luminance and efficiency of BLU, reinforcing materials have been incorporated into the PMMA matrix. In this study, in order to overcome these disadvantages, we proposed a novel diffuser beads. Monodisperse micron-sized Poly(MMA-co-TMSPM)-Silica hybrid particles were prepared by dispersion polymerization and layer-by-layer(LBL) process. The morphology and size distribution were observed optical microscopy (OM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). We investigated zeta potential and observed the optical property according to layer number of the composite particles.
