제목 Anti-microbial and biocompatible furfuryl-alginate derivative as a coating material to prevent adhesion after tendon surgery.
초록  Alginate has biocompatibility, biodegradation, and it has high resistance to antibiotics and kills macrophages. Alginate was modified furfuryl group, and the furfuryl alginate (F-alginate) was mixed riboflavin for visible light reactivity. Riboflavin was shown no cytotoxicity in vitro test. The introduction of furfuryl group was identified by 1H-NMR and UV/vis spectroscopy. To apply in anti-adhesion field, cytotoxicity test, anti-bacterial activity, and animal test were performed. In conclusion, it was demonstrated that the system prevented tendon adhesion.
