We report highly efficient polymer:fullerene bulk-heterojunction (BHJ) solar cells by introducing solution processible double interfacial layers comprised cesium carbonate (Cs2CO3) and titanium oxide (TiOx). Cs2CO3 develop a strong dipole moment in this structure, leading an ohmic contact between photoactive layer and TiOx layer. In addition, TiOx also make a smooth surface, playing a role as buffer layer between Cs2CO3 and metal cathode. As a result, we successfully demonstrated the efficient BHJ solar cells with 3.6% power conversion efficiency under AM1.5G 100mW/cm2 irradiation. |
