제목 | Solvent-free fabrication of N-doped porous carbonsfor efficient CO2 uptakes |
초록 | Herein, biochar was convertedinto a series of N-doped porous carbons using a facile solvent-free process involvinga chemical agent and melamine. The as-fabricated porous carbons have a high CO2adsorption capacity (323 mg/g at 273 K and 1 bar) because it has excellenttextural features with larger specific surface area, high narrow micropores concentrations,and intermediate amount of self-doped N and O contents. Furthermore, the optimized material has an intermediate isostericheat of adsorption indicating the physisorption process. Narrow micropore size best-fitlinear relationship with CO2 adsorption at 273 K. Hence, this researchproposes a bioengineered design of cost-effective and feasible microporouscarbon materials for environmental remediation applications. |
