Mechanical Properties of Ladder-like Polysilsesquioxane by Melt Processing |

Conventional processing with Si based hybrid materials have carried out in solution processing coupled with some additives such as photo-curing agent, because of such Si based hybrid materials were usually prepared by sol-gel synthetic processing, which usually gave low-molecular sol precursors. However, the high molecular weighted ladder-like polysilsesquioxane, which recently developed by our group, have a property of melt processing. In this study, we prepared samples by mini-injection molder and hot compression process and characterize its mechanical properties by UTM, Rheometer and TGA, etc. |
