제목 Effect of solvent composition and cooling rate on crystal size in cooling crystallization
초록 In this study, N-Guarnylureadinitramide (GUDN) was crystallized by cooling crystallization. Because solubility of GUDN has low dependence on temperature, the mixed solvent was used. According to the purpose of application of GUDN crystals, different size may be required. The size distribution of the particles grown in a bath crystallizer was within the range of 50 μm to 450 μm. But the size and distributions depended on the composition of solvent and the cooling rates. The size product crystals generally increased when the mass fraction of solvent in the initial solution was increased. A lot of fines were generated at high cooling rate of the system.
