In this work, we prepared the mesoporous carbons (MC) by sucrose impregnation method using organized mesoporous silicas as a template, with different carbonization temperatures. The structural properties of the MC were investigated using X-ray diffraction. The surface characteristic of the MC was investigated by FT-Raman spectroscopy. The textural properties of the MC were analyzed using N2 adsorption isotherms at 77 K. Specific surface areas and the mesopore volume of the samples were determined from the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation and Barrett-Joiner-Halenda (BJH) method, respectively. From the results, it was found that the textural properties of the MC were increased in accordance with the carbonization temperature. In addition, we confirmed that the synthesis of the MC could be accurately governed by carbonization temperature that was one of the effective parameter to develop the textural properties of the carbon materials. |
