제목 Study of charge transport properties of ionic liquid-embedded polymer semiconductor blends
초록 To achieve both simple processability and high device performance at the same time, there have been numerous attempts to design and modify the active materials in solution-processed organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs). Among them, the use of polymer semiconductor blends as active components provide a powerful way to tune the charge transport properties of devices and the processability. Here, we have used polymer semiconductor blends with an addition of a small amount of ionic liquid and investigated the effects of ionic liquids on the blend thin films. The ionic liquid-embedded polymer blends were electrically semiconducting when the composition was above the percolation threshold. This novel combination was applied to electrolyte-based gating systems, allowing us to make the best use of electrolyte-gated OTFT operation with high drive currents at low voltages.
