제목 pH-sensitive amphiphilic poly(amino acid) grafted with sulfonamide
초록 Amphiphilic graft copolymers composed of sulfonamide as the hydrophilic backbone and octadecyl chain as the hydrophobic segment were prepared for the purpose of pH-response properties according to endosomal pH change (pH 7→5). Sulfonamides show weak acidic nature which caused by readily ionizable hydrogen atom in amide bond in water.
PSI-C18 grafted with sulfonamide was successfully prepared by successive aminolysis of C18 and sulffadimethoxine to succinimde backbone. The degree of substitution and grafting reaction was confirmed by 1H NMR and FT-IR spectroscopy. Dynamic light scattering and zeta potential measurements were performed for determining the size distribution and confirming the stability of self-aggregates. The pH-sensitive properties were examined by the measurement of pH-dependent solution turbidity and the size of aggregates.
