제목 An optical pH sensing membrane covalently immobilized in a sol-gel matrix
초록 An optical pH sensing membrane was prepared based on a sol-gel matrix and its pH sensing ability was investigated. A fluorescent dye, 2-styryldihydropyridine derivative, possessing both charge-donor and acceptor groups within the molecule was synthesized and covalently immobilized in sol-gels. The sensing membrane displayed a strong fluorescence emission at 560nm induced by radiation at 435nm. In the range of pH 38, the membrane was very sensitive to the pH change without leaching of dye molecules and its linear detecting range was found to be between pH 4 and 7.
