제목 The effect of processing variables on the morphology of core-shell type composite particles fabricated by Mechanofusion process: the formation of protective shell layer on latent hardener for epoxy resin
초록 Recently, highly functional composite particles with tailored structure and morphology have become more significant in many demanding applications. A variety of methods have been reported to make core-shell type composite particles, especially. We fabricated such particles under a variety of operating conditions by Mechanofusion process, one of dry particle coating methods. The effects of processing parameters (processing time, rotating chamber speed) on the morphologies of resulting composite particles were investigated through SEM and BET. In addition, we attempted the capsulation of latent hardener to improve storage stability of latent hardener by formation of outer protective layer on its surface. In particular, the influence of kinds of guest particles on the capsulation of latent hardener was investigated using various guest particle systems via SEM.
