Ni-Mn based gradient type cathode for lithium ion battery was prepared by CSTR(Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor) reaction. For high capacity and temperature stability, V2O5 was coated on the surface of prepared cathode. The resultant cathode was characterized through PSA(Particle Size Analysis), FE-SEM(Field Emission-Scanning Electron Microscopy) and XRD(X-ray Diffraction). In addition, the capacity and cycle/ temperature stability were studied and the reaction mechanism of V2O5 was proposed based on relation of cathode characteristics and battery performance. |
