Synthesis of poly(vinyl alcohol)/poly(acrylic acid)/ TiO2 composite microcapsules and their photobleaching properties |
초록 |
Novel microcapsules consisting of TiO2 and pH-responsive poly(vinyl alcohol)/poly(acrylic acid) were prepared by emulsion polymerization as support for photocatalytic application. The efficiency of photocatalyst was tested on target pollutants by UV/VIS spectrophotometer. Scanning electron microscopy was used to elucidate the mixing phenomena and the size of both TiO2 and microcapsule.The composite of microcapsule and TiO2 improved not only the mechanical properties of microcapsule but also the handling of TiO2 photocatalyst. The TiO2containing microcapsule gave the practical advantages of easy separation and removal of TiO2 photocatalyst from the polluted wastewater. |
